Your friendly neighborhood hi-fi guy

Testimonials
“Patrick is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the equipment. I went into the shop looking to get my first vinyl player setup. I knew absolutely nothing walking into this. He taught me all the basics of operating the equipment and discussed different components with me. We spent a good deal of time carefully swapping around different speakers, pre amps, and vinyl players until I was absolutely delighted with my setup.”

FAQ
Can I test gear before I buy?
Absolutely. Come see us in the back room of Double Dare Records, where Patrick will ask you questions about your budget, style, and listening environment to make custom recommendations catered to your needs.
Can you repair my __(obscure piece of equipment)___?
Hopefully! The best way to know for sure is to bring it in, if possible. You can also submit an inquiry with photos and a description of the issue.
Do you only sell vintage gear?
As much as we love to dumpster dive and breathe new life into old gear, we also understand this isn’t for everyone. We are actively working on more plug and play options and encourage you to come in
